Restaurants in Antigua Guatemala - FAVORITES?

Jump to last reply

I was needing a mini vacation from work so I searched the forum for restaurants in Antigua and could not find a single thread dedicated to that in the last 3 years. I usually live and eat with a local family if I stay for more than a night or 2 so don't have much experience with it. I'm heading back this summer with my husband and it will be his 1st visit there since the 80s.

I enjoy Fernando's Cafe, La Cuevita de los Urquizu for great local soups and such, La Fonda de Calle Real for great pepián, and an inexpensive locals place by the market. I also have the small place run by Hector and Cafe Condesa on my list. OTHER FAVORITES?
