Hello, I live in Puerto Vallarta and know most hotels quite well. The Reef Club offers good value for money, but you should not expect too much of it. It is located on the marina and the hotel - building is on the marina-side , not on the beach-side. There is access to the beach though if you cross the street and walk along the villa-section. Not a really great beach. The pool-area is nice and the activities and entertainment are good. The rooms vary a lot, you may have luck and have a nice room. I would suggest you to ask for a room on a high floor and with balcony. If your travel-agent does send in the request, it probably helps as most people do not have any requests and the ones with special requests normally have priority. If you are looking for a good deal in all-inclusive this might be the good choice for you. If you are looking for a really nice hotel, I would look more for a Sierra Nuevo Vallarta or even Allegro Resort or Qualton.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I will be happy to help you with any tips for Puerto Vallarta.
