Hello all, we are planning to go to Riviera Maye the first week in June. I am very concerned about the rain I read in June it can rain up to 7 inches.. Has anyone gone to Riviera Maya or Cancun in the beginning of June please tell me how the weather was. Were you able to sit out in the sun by the pool or were you stuck indoors? Thanks for your help.

The rainiest season tends to be July through October. What you tend to get are a few days/hours of heavy rain but most days are dry.

When it rains it is usually in the late afternoon or early evening for anywhere from 30 minutes or less to a couple of hours, barring a tropical depression.
