Rain in November

Hi all
My husband and 2 sons, ages 19 & 13 are thinking of going to Costa Rica over Thanksgiving week 2006. We would like to do a 2 day rafting trip on the Pacuare River and then spend 4 nights on the Osa Peninusla. We can handle rain, but not if it's pretty much all day. Can anyone advise if it usually rains on and off all day at both places or is there usually a downpour and then it stops for most of the day? Thanks.

You should get a lot of rain in Osa at that time.

The Osa would be certain to get daily downpours , it could last for most of the day , or sometimes just part of it .... Hard to predict , this year was a really wet one .

Just returned from the Osa and was there during Thanksgiving. The weather was perfect. The only rain we saw was at night. During the day, the sun was shining. Go for it!

Thanks to everyone for their reply.
I guess we may as well go as it's really difficult to find time when everyone can go together. We will keep our fingers crossed for some clearings.
