Questions About Belize! and Corozal

I am trying to plan a trip to the Corozal Region of Belize. When would you suggest the best time would be to go between Oct-Jan? Is the prices for everything about the same as in the US or is it a little cheaper? Is there any problems with white ppl being there such as in other countries? How much would you say it would cost to be there for a month NOT counting the cost of stay? If anyone has been there or has answers to these questions please let me know. Thankyou!!
