Puerto Varas and daily trips

Soon we are going to take the Cruce de Lagos between Bariloche and Puerto Montt-Puerto Varas.
We plan to spend two nights in Puerto Montt at Hotel Don Luis taking a tour to Isla Chiloe, and then for the next four or five days stay in Puerto Varas.
Which is your favorite hotel ( we will not have a car) in Puerto Varas??
Which are your favorite daily trips ?
