Puerto Vallarta massage on beach

I heard that you can have a massage on the beach in PV, in sort of a tent or netting. Anyone know how to find out who does this service, and where in PV?

I think maybe it is something associated with various resort hotels? I've never seen what you describe on the main public beach (Playa Los Muertos) in PV.

I've seen it outside one of the restauants weeks ago while I was out there, near the gay end of the beach, but it's funny: I don't see those tents here as much as I do in other parts of Mexico like Mazatlan or Cabo. Most massage places in here are parlors you'll have to go to yourself or ones you call in to come to you. To that end, you've got your straight masseuses ( like these guys: http://www.villamerissa.com/spa.htm )
and then you've got your erotic masseuses ( like these guys: http://www.puertovallartaescorts.co/ )

Tons of massage therapists roaming around on the south/gay end of the beach. $20 american for a foot/leg massage; same for a back massage. I am not gay but was with gay friends and I enjoyed a foot massage several times. Very professional therapists; some have spas they work at also and give you a card if you want to go have an 'indoor' massage.

Interesting as I have never thought about it but PV seems not to have such Establishments but instead have off beach massage places.
Most other Mexican beach spots has several. In Zihuatanejo virtually every beach in the area has at least one. They vary greatly. Some self taught or had "on the job training" Others such as Antonia on Playa Madera not only attended massage school in Mexico City but has received advance training from US instructors. Costs vary from 150 pesos to 250 pesos with the higher end by such as Antonio for a long hour.

I agree, this tent/beach/massage thing is more common in many of the other tourist destinations. Not so in PV. There are several well-respected (legitimate) massage places, but they are in regular shops around town, not out on the sand.

I head down to PV twice a year. There is this great guy named Miguel - He usually wears a white Polo that says MIGUEL MASSAGE. He is straight but is generally at the gay beach (Blue Chairs) then heads back North up the beach if the business is slow. Handsome and strong with a great Personality and Tan. He has very strong hands and delivers the most amazing 30 minute foot and calf massage for $20US. He is not gay but very gay friendly. Will do shoulder massages too. Our group hired him for full body massages. He is 100% legitimate and very professional. Showed up at our resort with his table and did four 1 hour massages one right after the other for $75US, again STRONG and deep tissue. As I said his name is Miguel, and you can probably ask someone at Blue Chairs for his contact info "Massage by Miguel" and they will get him there.

There's a massage place between the pool at Hotel Playa Los Arcos and the Malecón, right at the beach, but it's inside a solid building.
