Puerto Vallarta in the spring!

The "high season" has "officially" ended but the weather is still BEAUTIFUL here....come on down! If anyone needs information, email me and I will do what I can! We still have some great months of warm days and cool evenings!

I am interested in coming to Mexico this summer. I do not know where to go. I hear it should either be Cancun, Cozumel, or Puerto Vallarta. I am inclined toward Puerto Vallarta but know nothing about it. Can you send me some information on what I might do when I visit there. I am a walker and would like to tour by foot. Is this possible. I will be traveling alone.

It will be very hot and humid in all the places that you mentioned. Definitely not suitable weather for walking.

Dear Pat, As stated above, it will be hot and humid that time of year. But in regards to walking, we all still have to do it down here! You just take lots of water to drink, stay well hydrated and in as much shade as possible and you are OK! The plus side is that everything is very lush and green, very tropical. The mornings are not too bad as the rains usually come late afternoon and evenings. There are many places to hike and walk....please email me direct for more detailed information! Will be glad to help. P.

Pat, even though it will be hot and humid, PV is the ideal town for walking around in, browsing, shopping, stopping for a lemonade. We've been there in June and Sept., both very hot months, some rain, fewer tourists during the summer. We now ususally go end of March and beginning of April just because of our time share. But the summers aren't any worse than any other tropical beach resort, like Hawaii. You can walk in the mornings or late afternoons, or evenings. If you like to walk around and just relax, PV is ideal. Wonderful restaurants! Be happy to give you move info if you choose PV.
