Puerto Vallarta Girls Weekend - any suggestions
Hey,
A group of us are heading to PV for a girls weekend at the end of February. Seeing as we're only going to be there for a weekend and really we're going to relax are there any "Must See" recommendations for us? I believe we're staying in the North Hotel District. Any help/advice would be terrific! Thanks in advance!

Strolling the Malecon on a weekend evening is one of my few "must dos" in PV.
I also like the live jazz music at River Cafe after having a nice dinner somewhere.
Sunset on Playa Los Muertos (local beach).
Those are my usual highlights.

There are 3 restaurants I really love you must try at least one of them they are a real treat. 1 is Vista Grille it is up on a high hill and overlooks the City of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay it is really nice. You should get there before sunset and have a drink before dinner and just look and enjoy then have dinner, it is so relaxing. There are also 2 others
that I would recommend, LaPalapa is on the beach same atmosphere just beautiful. One other is called Hacienda San Angel it was previously the home of Richard Burton they have a restaurant very lovely you also get to see the home at the same time like stepping back in time all antiques and beautiful furniture and decor. Any woman would love it. If you decide to go to any of these try and get a view where you can see the sunset you just ask when making the reservation. Have a great wkd and enjoy.

Take a cab to Los Cuartro Vientos & the Roof top El Nido bar for sunset. Possibly the best view on Mexico's West Coast. Then have an excellent dinner there or walk down the hill to El Centro for lots of other choices.
