Please Help- Los Cabos Lodging (Presidente Resort) Info?

We are planning a trip to the Presidente IC Resort in Los Cabos. I have a couple of questions based on what I have read on the web:
Are the beaches located at the resort like the Caribbean beaches (white sand, clear water, etc)?
Is the resort within walking distance of the main area w/ shopping and restaurants?
What is Los Cabos like? I have read very flat reviews of Cabo San Lucas on this site Are the two places alike?
We are considering the all inclusive plan at the resort- how are the restaurants at the resort?
Thank you for any information!!

We visited los cabos 3 years ago and LOVED it. But, I must say our favorite part was the hotel. We stayed at Casa Del Mar and everything was perfect, and I'm very particular. If you haven't already booked you might want to take a look at this property first. The beaches are nice but the water isn't really that warm on the baja in the winter.

Thank you for the feedback. I have been reading and it seems like the beach is not for swimming. I am now thinking of Cozumel. Would you visit Cozumel or Los Cabos?

The swimmming isn't that bad, just not as warm as cozumel/cancun, but Los Cabos isn't as touristy. I would enjoy Los Cabos more, but I like to spend a good amount of time at the resort. The spa there is nice and the pool areas are beautiful and unique. The food there was great, not hotelish at all. And the actually room was very spacious and european. Good Luck!
