Playa Del Carmen All Inclusive with party atmosphere?

Hi, I'm a travel agent with a group of singles in mid-20's looking for an all inclusive in Playa del Carmen with a great night life / party atmosphere. Ideas? Or do I need to book something in Cancun? Thanks!!! Linda

SambaChula, I have researched this to death, can't seem to find info on party type AI's in PDC, just Cancun. Most of my clients are couples, especially Honeymooners. I don't normally have the "party" crowd. Most of the resorts are geared toward relaxing and romance.
(which is good for me!)

Also, travel agents practically starve to death on our "fees"!

Not sure how you are researching to death, all I did was Google with the words "party resorts Playa del Carmen" and loads of links popped up.

Well, if a travel agent hasn't traveled enough him/herself to make recommendations for popular destinations like this from first hand experience, where's the value in using such a service in this day and age of the internet and Google? Sad.

Royal Playa del Carmen is supposed to be AO and right in Playa del Carmen so close to clubs like Coco Bongo's etc. Has a rep as a bit of a party resort but beach is not that great.
Riu Tequila is not on the beach which would be a deal killer for me and Oasis Cancun is a total dump.

Maybe you could educate them about partying OFF their resort property?

I can't help with the "other side"as you are asking about, but I know (for example) in Puerto Vallarta or Cabo San Lucas the nightlife happens downtown. You wouldn't expect to find anything oh so amazing going on at your own hotel or resort. You'd go out to the clubs.

Sound as if these clients have the idea that Spring Break goes on year round at every property in the area/country.

For those criticizing me as a Travel Agent, it is impossible for me to know everything about everywhere. And yes, I offer many wonderful services at no cost. If I don't know the answer to something, I research it, as I'm trying to do here by asking for suggestions. When I google party type All-Inclusives in Playa del Carmen, all I find are bars & nightclubs they can go to off the resort. I was trying to find recommendations from personal experience, is that so wrong? I have a list of plenty of places in Cancun. I was not asking for criticism, I was asking for suggestions.

And SambaChula, I am NOT a party person, so why would I know these things? Your comment was extremely rude. 95% of my clients are not looking for this type vacation. But I can tell them where the best snorkeling is, the most luxury, the best dining, the best beaches, the highest recommended AI's, where it's too crowded, where it's nice & quiet, where they can to to Tulum or Xcaret or Chankanaab and what to do there, where the cenotes are, where they can swim with turtles or dolphins. The most convenient flights. The best prices. I write the resort and request an upgrade. And my services are free. And yes, I feel valuable.

Really? Where do you THINK the best snorkling is, based of course on someone else's experience in the water?
How would you know the best beaches? From photos? Someone else's subjective opinions? Some mostly faked ratings on another popular travel forum?
You can tell them where dophins are tortured by being kept in captive conditions, earning big money for operators of such places where the animals lives are shortened?
So where is, for example, an "open" cenote around Tulum, where you can swim in sunlight, not a cave? Which cenote is best in that area to dive, and why do you think so?
If you are selling your advice for profit, you should know enough about the area to understand the fundamentals, that Spring Break is not year round, and what suze advises is the situation they are likely to encounter if staying at a resort in PdC. How about where to find a club on the beach? A club with Cuban music? Even a hostel that might be considered a party hostel?

My comments are realistic. I've been there.

Note: This is probably the only travel forum that would tolerate and not remove a commercial post like the OP, so complain at your own risk.

SambaChula, you are just an unbelievable jerk. Why are you even on this forum, which was designed to help people?

This forum is not designed to help people profit from advice given by volunteers who have personal experience in a destination, IMO. Commercial use of the forum is not permitted. Name calling does not help your case.

And not everybody on this forum, most of whom play fair by asking for info on their own personal trips, shares your opinion.
For one recent example: "Samba, Thank you again!!!! Love your responses!!! So much info... So appreciated!"

Linda, I apologize for what you are having to put up with here. You were completely upfront about your request. No reason a travel agent can't ask a question like any other person on this forum. Or answer questions if you feel like participating. Lo siento, Suze
