Planning a trip to Panama
Hi,all, I am in the beginning stages of planning a trip to Panama (land, not a canal cruise).
Want to tie it up to maybe January - MLK day off, or February - President's day off. March, the latest.
Is there a preference as the month is concerned, and why?

The OP posted 10 months ago, so s/he has probably taken the trip.
I will echo your sentiments. I've become a real fan of Panama, and I look forward to every opportunity I get to go there. It's a phenomenal place to visit.

Oh, sorry, I forgot about this thread. No, for several reasons this never happened. Now it's cancelled (not even postponed ) - combination of health, finances, and family issues.
The closest we were able to get there was a Panama canal cruise, full transition West to East, loved it so much, hoped to come back to travel on land.
