Places to stay/visit between Buenos Aires & Mendoza?
After much wrangling with transportation, our group of four mid-thirties has decided to drive to/from Buenos Aires & Mendoza in late April. We'd like to stay in an estancia or somewhere else interesting about half way between the two cities. Any suggestions? Thanks! I'll be sure post our trip report!

it is a very good idea, just break the long ride Bs.As. Mendoza into 2 shorter ones: Bs.As-Cordoba and Cordoba-Mendoza.
To cite only 2 ranches.
Historical Cordoba in the north.
La Paz.
Landscape and Adventure Cordoba south
La Constancia.
Both rides can be made on comfortable buses during the night.
