We are thinking of visiting Isla Mujere.during the Xmas holidays and would really appreciate your help . We are 2 adult couples who enjoy swimming, lounging on the beach and fine dining. Would love to find a 2 bedroom condo or house on the beach with a view. Any recommendations on where we should stay?

Look into Nautibeach or Ixchel condos, both two bedroom condos right on North Beach. I like Nautibeach better but they only have one bathroom, good restaurant, Sunset Grill, right there.
Thanks, Jamie, for responding. I will be traveling with my daughter and her husband and they have decided the IM may be a bit too sleepy for them. We are now thinking of staying in PDC. Any tips on 2 BR condos, great beach view and swimming?
Sorry Martha,
Never stayed in PDC, a little too built up for me but supposed to have good restaurants and some nightlife if that is what they are looking for (they opened a PDC Cocobongo's last year). I'd take a look over on TripAdvisor, lots of posts there and folks will be glad to help, especially if you can state budget and time of year.
Going to Akumal myself tomorrow, lots of nice condos in that area and great snorkeling but if Isla is too laid back for them, don't think they would like that area.
