Hi seawitch 1,
I have the same response from Kodak Gallery "page not available" on all your links as when I try to access Bill Adams gallery he recently posted here.
Makes we wonder- are these galleries accessable from any computer without a password?

How odd! I can see them all. I will think of another way and repost. I am sorry!

You'll really love my monkeys. They make me smile.

OK, then you can access the rest of them by clicking on the link that says "Browse all albums" located below the thumbnails of the LaPaz pics. Wheh!

Well, I can't take credit for the red eyed guys. One of the workers at LaPaz told me he did some photography and I asked if he wouldn't mind helping me out, and he was very happy to do it. But thank you anyway. In answer to your question, I have a Nikon D50. Just bought it before we left and I am so glad I did.

By the way, I have enjoyed the pictures you have posted many times over.

You have some fine pics in your galleries Diane! The "I Dunno" bird is a Golden-hooded Tanager. The Arenal glowing red with some sky light and the ethereal cloud is wonderful. The monkeys are sweet. Curious what mm lens were you using? Thanks.

great pics! I love Costa Verde, such views from there! It's funny, I took that the same pic of that tree in MA park with all the roots exposed. It looked that way over a year ago so I guess it's pretty sturdy! I think that one animal in MA Park you have a ? under is an agouti, although the ones I've seen have been pretty porky in comparison.

earthtraveler - Thank you for the Golden-hooded Tanager. I have one more question for you; you really seem to know your birds. Can you tell me what the Monteverde bird from the Reserve Cloud Forest is? I thought maybe an Emerald Toucanet, but the colors are not quite right...although the colors in the pic are not the best.

tully - Yes, I think you are right about the Agouti. This one must have been a baby. It was quite small.

coolbluewater - Thank you. If you like flowers, you will definitely like Lankester. Our visit there was a nice way to end our two week trip.

Thanks for sharing all those wonderful pictures! I can't believe the shots. I need a new camera!!!!!! I will have to remember what you used.

I did see some birds unnamed.
Green Heron on the lake, Emerald Toucanet http://www.nfss.org/Birds/Species/So...e/Emerald.html, and Northern Jacana (little bird on stilts with yellow on head).

I agree with Suzie2, Emerald Toucanet.
The "No idea what this is- a bird" is a female Scarlet-rumped Tanager.

Could you please tell me what size lens you were using? and were they the lens that come with the D50 or did you buy something different? Thanks

Thank you all for your input. I need to get a bird book.

earthtraveler - I'm sorry I did not answer your question before. I have a 28-80mm and a 70-300mm. I mostly used the 300mm. I bought them as a kit with the camera. I am going to replace the 28-80 with a wider angle lens though. The 28mm is not wide enough.

Hi Seawitch,
I couldn't get the Kodak site to load up for me. Any Ideas?
Also, I posted a few more pictures on my report today.
