Peru/Bolivia

My husband and I are planning a trip to Peru and Bolivia for the end of May early June. Can anyone give me an estimate of how much money we should be budgeting for the trip?

We would like to stay in safe accommidations, but nothing 4 star. Can anyone tell me the approxiate price for a hotel and food?
We are (hopefully) planning on going for 12 days.

Any input you can give us is greatly appreciated!
