Panama Transportation

Jump to last reply

Hi Everyone. I just got back from a trip to Panama. This is my third time there and this time I found a good company to use for getting around. The story is, the first time I went I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. I picked up the taxi at the airport where the sign says to go. Well although the price wasn't bad, the taxi was real old and they drove me through the worst part of town to get to my hotel. I later found out that was because they did not want to pay the tolls on the Corridor Highway which is like a freeway sort of. Anyway the next time I went down to Panama I included my airfare, hotel and transportation all in one. So a shuttle picked me up when I arrived and took me along with alot of other passengers to our hotels. It was nice. The only problem was, the shuttle never came to pick me up to return me to the airport. The hotel called and called them and they promised to be there. Guess what, I had to use a taxi at the hotel to get back to the airport. It was expensive and now I had double paid for the trip. Anyway, I found a company on the internet and decided this trip to give them a try. They met me at the airport outside baggage and had my name on a sign. They drove me right to my hotel. And if I needed them for anything while I was there, I just called them and they sent me a car. I had options of using their taxi's or private cars to get around (private was more expensive then the taxi was) Then they came and picked me up at my hotel and returned me to the airport. On time service, new cars, and spoke English.
Anyway wanted to share my good find. You can find them on the internet at: http//www.panamatransexpress.com .
