Oaxaca hotel with AC

Jump to last reply

Hi all. I'm going on a spur of the moment trip to Mexico for a few wks. Most of the time we will be at a condo in Playa del Carmen but we will fly from Cancun direct to Oaxaca for 5 days in May.

I've been to Oaxaca many times, but not this time of yr. It is hot in Oaxaca now, low to mid-90s.

I'm clear that we need a hotel w/AC. Hotels I usually stay in there ($50 a nite range) have no AC. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express one time on points. It has AC but is pretty far from the center of town, about 10 min. walk north beyond Santa Domingo. It is $90 a night.

Can anyone recommend another hotel for about that price or less with AC and maybe a better location? thank you.
