Non-alcoholic drinks in Mexico?
Could you make some recommendation for some good non-alcoholic drinks in Mexico? I will be traveling with a pregnant colleague, and would like to have some interesting recommendations. We will be in remote areas for most of the trip.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Gatorade, ice tea, soda in a plastic bag with straw, 'orange' drink, boxed or canned fruit nectars like peach, guava or pineapple from a store. Fresh squeezed orange, grapefruit or carrot juice from a street stand. Or punch from the ladies with a large glass container & a ladel (I'm not sure what it is but it is very common). Mexicans as a people are not big drinkers and it's a hot place so lots of choices really.
Although being pregnant and traveling in remote areas she might prefer to stick with bottled water for health reasons.
Restaurants with bars will make the usual drink combos without alcohol like fruit punch instead of maitai or blender drinks like virgin margarita or pina colada.

There is a very pleasant nonalcoholic drink called agua fresca. It is made with water, fruit, and sweetener and served quite commonly. I would stick to restaurants rather than buying it on the street, only because of the water.

In Cozumel I love to order "liquadas" - especially watermelon. Its basically the fresh juice of whatever fruit with a little lime juice added. Also, you can order any tropical drink "sin alcohol" - without alcohol - espcecially good are pina coladas. They are just like a smoothie.

Two drinks I like are agua de tamarindo (sweet/sour) and agua de jamaica, which is made from dried hibiscus flowers and looks just like red koolaid. Another popular drink is horchata, made from rice. It looks like watery milk and is usually almond-flavored...I love the smell but find it way too sweet-tasting. But do be wary if you are not sure of the source of the water used to make these.
There are also some different bottled or canned beverages...horchata, non-diet Fresca, an apple-flavored soft drink called Manzana Lift.
