Please help. We are looking for a nice 4 star hotel in Playa del Carmen area where we can scuba dive the cenotes and have a nice relaxing clean hotel to stay in. Nice bed lines are very important and somewhere that either has a scuba op on location or somewhere that has a dock where we can be picked up. Also any advice for independant dive ops would be welcome! Looking to spend about $2,000-$ 2,500 for 2 people (not including diving) for 7 days. Thanks
Nice hotel in Playa del Carmen for scuba divers

The cenotes are all inland, so you won't be needing a dock to launch your adventure.
This is a list of dive shops in PDC:
http://www.locogringo.com/dynamic/services.cfm?type=Dive%20Shop&location=Playa%20del%20Carmen
But many use dive shops near Tulum, that's where most of the cenotes are located.
A couple of true 5 star hotels in PDC area are Ikal del Mar (north of PDC) and Esencia (south of PDC)...you'll find the linens you require.

Try Shangri La Caribe in Playa. We just got back and were staying at a condo right behind Shangri La. My husband went diving with Cyan Ha at Shangri La and loved them! He was just diving reefs and a wreck, but they also do cenotes. He had formerly used Tank Ha, but prefers Cyan Ha.
And like my friend Pepper says, check out the accommodations on Locogringo! They give excellent photo representations and are great to book with. I used them for our trip this month.
