More beautiful beaches? Montezuma or Uvita area?

I am looking for a beach destination (3 or 4 nights) to pair with our stay in Arenal (3 nights). Most of Guanacaste does not appeal to me because I am looking for something not too touristy. However, Montezuma seems like it might fit the bill and looking at Ylang Ylang's website, the beaches look vast and pretty. On the other hand, I am attracted to the Southern coast for it's remoteness, and also beautiful beaches (Marina Bellena, Playa Uvita, Playa Ventana). Which area would you choose? I am hoping to actually swim at these beaches. I am not opposed to some waves, but I am opposed to dangerous undertows. Thank you!

Based on what you're looking for Montezuma's probably the way to go. Ylang Ylang is a very nice and intimate location but the town is a quick walk away for some liitle shops and places to eat. It seems to have what you're looking for, remote but still offers "things". You can swim at beaches nearby by still have to be careful.
