Montezuma or Nosara Area?

We're about to make our 4th trip to Costa Rica. We have two weeks, and would like to go to spots we haven't been to yet. This time around, we're flying into Liberia airport, and want to concentrate our trip to this end of the country. La Carolina is a definite. For a second spot, we are hard-pressed to choose between Montezuma or Nosara areas. We love to swim and snorkel, but we don't surf or dive. Access to hiking trails within walking distance of our accommodations (we won't have a car) are also important to us.

We are looking at either Maripasario Montezuma Gardens or Amor de Mar in Montezuma, and Lagarta Lodge in Nosara.

Suggestions/advice?
