Mexico with kids

Hi, we are planning a trip this winter to Mexico with 3 kids ages 17, 13 and 9. Any suggestions for AI resorts. We like the looks of the Bahia Principe resort. Just looking to relax and enjoy the food. Kids really want to swim with dolphins. Parents just want to enjoy the beach. I'll take any suggestions as long as the hotel is clean , service and food are great. Thanks

I don't care for all-inclusive properties, but you'll probably have limited choices, since many won't allow five to a room. You might check which ones will and take it from there. What part of the country are you thinking about?

We took our two boys,15 & 8, to Mexico last year and stayed at the Gran Porto Real. Beautiful hotel and great service but the beach was less desirable. Our friends stayed at the Bahia Principe for their honeymoon and loved it! You won't go wrong there. Another hotel that comes highly recommended is Dreams Cancun resort & Spa in Cancun. I've heard only good things about it. All the Iberostar hotels in the riviera maya are really nice with good beaches. Is this your first time to the Mayan Riviera? If so, I can recommend some excursions and things to do while your there if you'd like.

Yes it will be our first time to MEXICO, and have been reading some excellent reviews about the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort.

I always suggest going to trip advisor.com and check out the reviews of people who have stayed at any hotels you are considering.

Check out the Barcelo Maya resort. It is wonderful and we have had 3 family reunions at this resort. It is on one of the best beaches in the area with on site snorkeling. This website has lots of information and pictures of the resort.

Check out sticky post at top of forum for links to people's vacation pictures of resort and area. No fighting for shade or lounge chairs at beach and pools as there is lots for everyone.

Have a great family vacation no where you choose to go. 8-)
