Mexico City & Puebla for 6 days

Jump to last reply

We are 2 early 30s guys going on our first Mexico exploration and have outlined the following tentative itinerary that I'd love people's input from.

Wed. Mar 20: Arrive Mexico City in the AM, explore the Zocolo/Cathedral area
Thur. Mar21: Museum day, Archeologico, Palacio National, etc..
Fri. Mar22: Day trip to Teotihuacan
Sat. Mar 23: San Angel (market) & Coyocan
Sun. Mar24: AM bus to Puebla, all day Puebla sightseeing and sunday market
Mon. Mar25: half day trip to Cholula, more Puebla sightseeing
TUe. Mar26: AM flight home from Puebla Airport

A couple of questions:
1) Is anything important missing on this itinerary?
2) Does anyone know of a good local walking guide in either city?
3) Is there a recommended Teotihuacan tour?
4) Do I need to buy the bus ticket to Puebla ahead of time or can do it there?

Thanks!

Sergey
