<BR>Hey "D"- <BR>I myself have booked a trip to the Melia resort. I am headed there in the middle of January. I have found resort information on vacation.com. When you reach that site, find Mexico, then find Puerta Vallarta, and then Puerta Vallarta again. This should give you the option to choose Malia/Puerta Vallarta Beach Resort. That's all I could help you with now. I will be checking this site frequently in the next week to see if anyone has responded to your question. I will also try and give you some up-to-date info when I return from my trip. Otherwise Good Luck with your quest for answers.

You may be interested to know that they have their own website. www.solmelia.es. There is not alot of information in it, though.

We went to the Melia P>V> last yeear. The rooms are not quite ip to Melia standard, however we could not fault it. The lobby, pool(shaped like a dove) IS faboulous. Service immpecable.I wanted to go back for a third time, (the year before we stayed at the Holiday Inn) NO comparison(noisy, Loud) but we are ging middle of March for two weeks Barcelo at outside Cancun. Hope this

Hi, I just returned from PV and stayed at the Eden Sunset Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. We stayed with friends who stayed at the Melia last year and they liked our resort better. The beach is beautiful in Nuevo - much nicer than the marina area, and they said the food was better at the Eden. It's a much smaller resort than the Melia, but generally it seems that the Eden was a nicer choice for a quieter vacation. The only thing that they thought was better at the Melia was the kid's program - better organized with a lot of fun activities that the Eden didn't offer. <BR>If you'd like to know anything else about the area, feel free to e-mail me.
