Good to be here on Fodors. We are longtime Mexico travelers (1.5 years) and would be glad to answer any questions about Jalisco, Chapala, PV or San Miguel de Allende -- and share our experience and perceptions of Mexican culture from an educated Gringo POV. We aren't experts but we have learned quite a bit in our 1.5 year sojourn.
In fact, we've decided to change our location AGAIN - crazy as that seems -- from Puerto Vallarta area where we spent 6 months -- to Puerto Penasco, on the Sea of Cortez, near the US border. We think it will be quite a bit more manageable for a long-term stay... which leads us to ask...
Altho most of you are travellers, not expats -- we want to ask 1 question: does anyone know of a reputable and reasonably priced Mexican mover who can transport our belongings and
vehicle up the Pacific coast from Puerto Vallarta to Puerto Penasco? Or do you know where we can find the answer? Thanks and bon voyage!
Loved travelling in Mexico, now want to stay awhile...
