Los Chorros or La Paz? Help me choose, please.
53 days till our return trip to Costa Rica (but who's counting)! The day before we have to return to the states, we are flying Sansa beack to Alejuela...should arrive at either 8:30 am or 10:00 am.
Anyway, we're staying at the Orquideas Inn, and plan on having Zamar 2000 / Wady Tours (www.emotionguaranteed.com)pick us up at the airport, and then go on a half day tour.
Looking to go see the Poas volcano, and also would like to visit La Paz Waterfall gardens or Los Chorros Waterfall park. Do any of y'all have any insight to offer regarding either of these? It looks like we could rappel the falls @ Los Chorros which seems like a good time...unless we're worn out by that point in the trip!
Thanks for any advice you can give!

Hi airwayvz,
Who's counting? I know who's counting!
I haven't heard of Los Chorros, so if you choose it, do review it on Fodors!
One of the things we liked about La Paz Waterfall Gardens (didn't like the admission of $25 per person!) was the butterfly gardens and hummingbird gallery. Captivated me! And of course the falls were gorgeous. We thought the bathrooms were fun and enjoyed the gift shop. It's pretty touristy there, but very nice inside.
Have a great trip!

Thanks shillmac. I most certainly will. I'm leaning towards Los Chorros right now. I'm sure the falls @ La Paz are beautiful, but the opportunity to rappel the waterfalls @ Los Chorros just seems too much fun to pass up. I'll be sure to post about it if we go.
If you're curious about Los Chorros, you can see a few details here:

Thanks shillmac. We have decided to go w/ Los Chorros. Just can't resist the chance to rappel of the waterfalls there, and it seems to be a bit off the beaten path so it's a perfect chance to review the place!
Plus, it's on the last full day of our trip, so I figure if we plunge off the falls...at least it didn't ruin our WHOLE vacation!
