      Leaving for Belize Friday, 7/3 - 8 days/nights

      Hi Everyone,

      Just a quick "thank you" for all the great information posted on this site. I have been completely unproductive at work for the past 3 days...!

      I am leaving this Friday for 8 days in Belize; 3 days/nights on Ambergris Caye, and 5 days/nights in San Ignacio. We plan to dive for the 3 days on Ambergris (although my sig other has developed some very unpleasant flu-symptoms from the anti-malaria pills he insisted we take...ironic...so he won't be doing any diving unless his head clears up.) Then we're heading back to the mainland and renting a car (still TBD) and driving to San Ignacio where we've rented a house for the duration of the trip. Budget was tight for this vacation - we found our accomodations for both AC and SI on vrbo.com - I'll follow up after the trip with analysis of both.

      Looking forward to all the great adventures posted here - we plan to stopy by the zoo on our way to SI. ATM tour one day, Mayan ruins one day (still TBD on specific site), hiking and kayaking.

      Our plans are still pretty fluid...we're not great at planning ahead and tend to be fairly fluid when we travel. Will report back after our trip with all our adventures!
