Issimo Suites or Mango Moon?? (Manuel Antonio CR)
I am torn between the 2 hotels to stay at in Manuel Antonio. With my budget I will only be able to stay in the Junior suite at Issimo Suites, and at Mango Moon I would stay in the Tiki Titi, no personal balcony
I believe both are equal distance from the town of Quepos and MA beach. I was originally leaning towards Mango Moon because I like to homey feel of the B&B, i hear the bar is a great hang out, ect. But I fear the rooms will be too crammed and small.
Issimo suites has great reviews but a lot of reviews are from the Penthouse suites and I have not heard much about the Junior suite.

We stayed at Mango Moon and enjoyed it. The balcony situation isn't that great there because most of the balconies are shared and not private. Our room was listed as having a private balcony, but to get to it, we had to walk through/across someone else's balcony, and it felt like we were always interrupting them. It's a charming little place with great views. We were able to walk to a lot of restaurants from there - Cafe Milagro, Cafe Agua Azul, Salsipuedes, etc. If you hike down the back side of the property, you come out on a little beach. They upgraded us for free to a really fancy room, and it was great. Seems like the rooms there do vary a lot. There were a lot of capuchin monkeys on the property which was pretty cool.

Thanks for your response! Did you get to see any of the other rooms besides your upgraded one? (LUCKY!!). I LOVE the ambience of Mango Moon and I feel like it has a more "Costa Rica feel" than Issimo Suites, But the rooms at Mango Moon in the pictures look a little crammed!

We just saw them walking by, not in detail, and they all seemed to have their own character and be different. Have you checked out tripadvisor? You can probably see some good pics and read reviews over there. From what I've seen of Issimo, the rooms are bigger with a jacuzzi tub. Mango Moon is smaller and more intimate, kind of a small boutique type place. The room they upgraded us to was a King Suite with its own private balcony, entrance, etc. It was beautiful and a lot bigger than our first room.
