Info on Coban and/or Todos Santos???

I was scheduled to fly to Guate last week but postponed due to the mudslides. I am planning to fly down the end of this week. It's been 10 years since I was last in Guatemala and I'm psyched to get back. My hope is to study Spanish for about 2 weeks and volunteer for 4-5 weeks. Last time around I did Antigua and I'm NOT looking for that type of experience this time around. I've been thinking about Todos Santos or Coban.

Two questions:

How bad was Todos Santos affected in the aftermath of Hurricane Stan? Are the roads open to get there and are the language schools up and running?

Does anyone know of a reputable school in Coban?

And, I guess a third question: I'm game to volunteer/help out wherever...does anyone know where the greatest need is for extra hands?

Thanks for any and all input and suggestions!
