Trip Report Incredible diving and top-notch service on Guanaja, Honduras

We just completed a wonderful 7 night stay at G&G's Clearwater Paradise Resort on the north shore of Guanaja. There are lots of great dive and snorkel spots near the resport. We definitely got our fill of amazing dives every day. They sent us out to dive each morning with a belly full of delicious food and when we returned lunch awaited us. Each meal was hand-crafted by the owners and their staff using local or homegrown ingredients. The desserts were to die for!

The accomodations are far above those of the typical vacation resort. They use high thread count sheets, pillow-top mattresses, quality construction and tasteful decorating. All of the suites are centrally located near the dining area and game room and have fantastic views of the bay.

George and Ginger truly care about each guest's experience. They wouldn't allow us to lift a finger! We enjoyed evenings on the patio visiting with neighbors who stopped by to enjoy a drink at the bar, we kayaked and snorkeled when we weren't diving, we ate well, and we slept well. Ginger arranged our flight from San Pedro Sula to Guanaja and back, and they were at the Guanaja airport to greet us and send us off. George and Ginger made us feel right at home, and yet they maintained a high level of service and professionalism. This is definitely a Diving +++ experience. Even if you don't dive, you'll enjoy the views, the company, and the service. I highly recommend G&G's Clearwater Paradise Resort for diving and some serious R&R!
