If I only do 1 thing while in Costa Rica it should be...

I'm looking for suggestions on dining, activities and local markets to visit while in San Jose. I will only be there for 4 days and I am a 40 something yo mom traveling with a 17yo boy, so it's fair to say that our interests and physical stamina are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Keep in mind that our hotel is in Santa Ana, so if anyone knows if the distance from any of the attractions will be a problem, please let me know. Here are a few of the activities that I've have come up with so far...

1. zip line canopy tour w/ original canopy tour company-- I am the biggest scary cat ever and I'm sure my eyes will be closed the entire time, but I can't go all the way there and not.

2. volan poas

3. manuel antonio national park

BTW...anything that includes racing water, paddles, rafts and or requires a life jacket is out of the question. :)
