How many nights in DF/Pubela/Oaxaca

Hi there, I am in the beginning stages of planning a 10 night trip and would love advice on how many nights to spend in each of these three cities. I am flying in and out of Mexico City and will be taking buses between cities. I plan on eating A LOT and visiting museums and markets.

Thanks for your help!

I'm doing something similar, but with more days and more cities. But for the cities that you are visiting I'm doing.

6 days in DF
2.5 in Puebla
3 in Oaxaca.

Oaxaca is a huge state, so I'm only focusing on the city itself, you definitely need more time if you want to go to other places inside of Oaxaca like Huatulco.

I can give you my exact itinerary if you are intersted and need ideas on what to do.

I'd like to see your itinerary, as I am planning a trip for October/November to include those three cities.

Three days might be enough for Oaxaca city itself, but if you want to include the outlying villages with their various crafts, you might want to allocate more time.

Take a look at seemaskt's recent and highly detailed trip report for some of the many choices.
