Hotel in Los Cabos? JW Marriott, Marquis, Hilton or Westin?

Hi,
My husband and I are going to Los Cabos in one week and we are struggling to decide where to stay. He would love to stay in an "all inclusive" hotel but I am not a big fan of them. His proposal is Marquis mine are JW Marriot or Westin. We have a neutral choice which is Hilton! We need help please!!! Thanks

All of those hotels are a distance from either San Jose or Cabo San Lucas, so AI may be more convenient. I have never stayed at any of them, but would choose the Hilton, since it is closer to CSL. Or the Marriott, which is the newest.

I've only been to Cabo once and stayed right downtown.

But agreeing with MichelleY above these are all out on what's called "The Corridor" the stretch of highway and coastline in between the two towns (Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo).

You might want to first check the cost of going from these hotels into town before deciding against all-inclusive.

When I stayed at the Hilton Los Cabos (which was great by the way and would happily stay there again) the round-trip taxi into San Jose del Cabo was something like $60 USD.

I agree, if you aren't going to stay walking distance to downtown (with lots of restaurant options), I would probably take the AI package at the resort.

Thank you all, guys for your recommendations.
Agree that hotels in "the Corridor" area are in the middle of nowhere.

We are going to rent a car so we can easily go to CSL and San Jose.

I think we are going to follow recommendations from weekender and stay at the Hilton!!

Thanks again!!

I have friends who are at the Hilton right now and it looks quite nice. I'll get the scoop from them when they get back.
