Where are you staying in Arenal?
Patandlisa,
VG always recommends Lost Iguana, so I would bet that's where she is at right now! That hotel and Arenal Observatory Lodge are two that are on the lava side of the volcano. There are many other hotels around the volcano that have wonderful views, but not of the lava/rocks.
Hola vgirl! I just got back last night. Such a wonderful trip it was! Maybe by the time you get back I'll have some pics posted...maybe. In the meantime, have a wonderful time and can't wait to hear all about the great stuff you have planned.

Hi, guys! The weather has been warm. Cano Negro was downright steamy, but still awesome. Yes, Lost Iguana for us. We have had some rain, but nothing that has stopped our plans. Full report when we get back for sure.
