I have the great luck of having a business trip to Saltillo. Having never been there, does anyone have any suggestions on things to do, places to see... when I'm not working of course.
Also, I may be able to take a couple of extra days off. Does anyone have ideas on excursions out of Saltillo, that would be inexpensive and fun. How about Monterey? or ???

Beth, Saltillo is a nice city, weather is very nice (it get a little cold in winter), as far as I know there´s not a lot to do there (I´m from Monterrey), altouh there a couple of places one is called "El Jonuco" and the other is called "Monterreal", those places are up in the mountains, and they are really nice, (those places are more on the romantic side, or maybe if you go with a lot o friends you´ll have a great time).
If you are lookin for more action Monterrey has a lot to offer, great bars, places to dance and to eat, if you are looking for Bars I recomend you Bar-Rio Antiguo or Fonda San Miguel, both are located downtown (in Monterrey) both have live music, are VERY crouded, and open till 5:00 am, in Monterrey theres a lot to do, all you need is to know what you are lookin for.
