Good hotel recommendation for 4 mid-20 guys in Los Cabos

Hi - our group of 4 spent two spring breaks during college at Los Cabos staying at the Marbella Suites. That property isn't available this year and we're wondering if anyone has a good suggestion - we'd like to stay in the $200/night range/room; safe, clean with a decent pool and/or access to the beach. Our previous trips were part of a leadership program so we didn't have a lot of time to scope out other hotels. Thanks all -

Do you want to stay in downtown Cabo San Lucas (Medano Beach), out on the tourist "Corridor", or in the town of San Jose del Cabo?

I think the corridor would be fine - that's where marbella is and my family also stayed at the westin when it first opened. we have no problem taking a cab downtown.

For your age group, stay in CSL on Medano Beach. Look at Pueblo Bonito Blanco or Rose, Villa del Palmar(and related Villa del Arco, ME Cabo,Casa Dorada. Also look at Marina Fiesta at the marina. Here is a link to a map:

I'd also vote for staying right in town. So you can walk out to all the bars and restaurants, not be stuck only at your own resort.

What suze said. The Pueblo Bonito resorts (excluding the PB Sunset) and the VDP are withing walking distance to town.
