Groupon Getaways is running a half price special right now for the Springs Resort and Spa in the Arenal area if anyone is interested. Looks like a beautiful hotel. Has anyone ever used a Groupon for travel?

I used two Groupons for Costa Rica; one for Lost Iguana, and the other for Villas Sol (Playa Hermosa, 20 minutes from Liberia). Run away, as fast as you can, from Villas Sol "deals"; Lost Iguana was, of course, wonderful. (By the way, Groupon backed up their promise on the totally awful Villas Sol, and we were very very happy with their customer support.)

That would be awesome, sparkle! I read on Groupon that they will refund your money if the dates that you want are not available. We've also used Luxury Link - that's another good site for saving $ on hotels.
