Glover's Reef or Sapodilla Cayes?

Jump to last reply

I'm looking to spend up to a week on or around Belize's more remote cayes. Price is a primary factor, but I'm willing to splurge if it's worth it.
Is a there a huge difference in the ecology between Glover's Reef and the Sapodilla reserve? GR is on every must-see list while few mention Sapodilla.
I've found a great five-day offering with Reef CI in the Sapodilla Cayes that includes a free dive course. Plus, guests take part in daily conservation efforts. But Slickrock on Glover's Reef offers amazing activities at twice the price for seven nights on the reef and two in Belize City.
I can't do both. Will I be missing out if I skip Glovers Reef?
