First trip to Argentina!

Hi all,

I am planning a trip to Argentina in March 2007 for 25 days. My plan is to reach BsAs first and then go to Rosario, Santa Fe city and finally Crodoba city.

How much time I should stay in each? I am traveling alone and staying in budget hostels.
Beside accomodation and transport, is 2,000 USD enough as pocket money for this trip?

Thanks,
Jimmy

Hello
you're planning a great trip.
There is some great starter information on Buenos Aires here,

and there seems to be a lot of Argentina expertise as well.

Jimmy: I do not understand what you want to do in Rosario and Santa Fe... Are you interested in the Monument to Argetnine Flag? or Parana River? If you are looking for natural landscape and colourful places, rock formations, wine and a colonial city you should come to Salta, NW of Argentina. There are buses and takes 19 hotus but it worths.
Warm regards.

Jimmy:
As an Argentine, let me ask you why do you want to go to Rosario, Santa Fe and Cordoba--there isn't much there. Buenos Aires is by far THE city in Argentina. If you want to see natural beauty, head for the Iguazu falls or Salta.
