Drink the water?
I'll be in Buenos Aires next month. Typically, when I travel, I drink bottled water, but not necessarily for brushing my teeth. Just wondering if the water there is safe to drink?

Within BA very safe - in fact, if you're "of a certain age" it'll remind you of the water growing up in the 60s or 50s when fluoridation and/or chlorination was all in vogue to kill off all the nasty pests in it, and you could taste it. That said, while I usually drink bottled water, I don't hesitate to drink tap water or use it for brushing my teeth, and have never had a problem.

Oh, and the second part, which I forgot to include - if you travel outside of the general BA area, especially in the countryside, I'd stick with bottled - very little in the way of water treatment in most of the rest of the country, other than some of the other decent sized cities.

No problems with the water in the capital itself (although I do know people who only drink bottled water there). If you the venture into the outer reaches of greater Buenos Aires however, many of the houses get their water pumped up directly from underground, so it will have a different taste. Also many buildings and individual houses have their cold water stored in a tank on the roof, so you might want to think about how often the owner of the building has this tank cleaned.
Personally I have never had any problems drinking water, nor known anyone else who has.
