Drake Bay Accomodation

Hola Fodorites! Wonder if anyone can reccomend some reasonably priced accommodations
in Drake Bay. Looking for seclusion, ocean front/view, and good vibe.
Both Las Caletas and Finca Maresia look interesting, although
Finca Maresia is not on the ocean. Your input, as always, is much appreciated!!

Hola - don't you owe is a trip report?!

I haven't been to DB but have been thisclose twice and both times have mostly considering staying at Las Cotingas. Only stuff I know is what I see on their website and on TA but it has a nice appeal to me.

We loved Finca Maresia. Great service, lovely modern cabins with indoor/outdoor shows, good food.

It's not on the ocean and is about 2km away from town, but that also means it's much more secluded.

We highly recommend it.

Here's our tripadvisor review (yes real people do write those):

Cano Island is temporarily closed (until the end of May, according to the government, which could mean a little past that).

Las Caletas was great for my hubbie and me a few years ago. We liked the very basic (maybe less basic now) "honeymoon cabin" because it was more isolated and private.
