The Royal Caribbean was a very nice, large, timeshare resort. It is well maintained and you have full use of the other royal resorts. The Caribbean is in the middle of the Mayan and Islander. The pools are all very large and you feel very safe in this property if you have children with you (we did). The rooms are as the brochures show and many have spectacular views. My wife and I stayed there last July 01 with our 3 children. We would stay again at any of the royal resorts if they were available. Have fun!!

Rob:<BR>Thanks, this really helps.<BR>We are a little worried, since we had an exchange in St. Maarten in the Pelican Resort, which wasn't very nice.<BR>TXS.<BR>'Janet

We have just returned from our third visit to the Royal resort in Cancun; we've stayed twice at the Caribbean and once at the Islander. It is an excellent resort, friendly and helpful staff, clean as a whistle, lots to do, and a good restaurant in each of the three. Have a blast.
