Trip Report Culinary Event of The Year Antigua Guatemala

On 28 April the 3rd. Night of the Chefs, the most exciting culinary event of the years in Antigua Guatemala organized by degustantigua and Hotel Soleil Antigua, will be held at Convento Capuchinas in Antigua Guatemala from 6:30 to 11:00 pm.

The Culinary Event features 9 of the best restaurants from Antigua Guatemala and one special guest from Guatemala City. Thus Culinary Event allows the restaurants and their Chefs the chance to show off their culinary skills as part of this Gala dinner event.

This is the third year for the event and interest and participation in this Culinary Event has grown. As such this years Culinary event will be limited to 200 people. Tickets are Q. 300 including a welcome cocktail, a 10 course tasting dinner, a glass of wine and participation in the raffle.

Proceeds from this Culinary event will be donated to the NGO’s:

Unidos Para los Animales (United for Animals) is a registered non-profit association based in Antigua, Guatemala founded in 2010 in response to the large number of unwanted, starving, injured and abandoned animals in the Antigua area. UPA works with individuals and Guatemalan and American-based rescue groups to spay/neuter and vaccinate street animals in order to create stable, non-breeding, healthy animal populations.

AWARE (Animal Welfare Association – Rescue/Education) is a non-profit, non-governmental charitable organization, founded in Guatemala in 1998 by Xenii Nielsen (USA), Gina Illescas (Guatemala), and Pamela Hirst- Prins (England).
AWARE is financed solely through membership subscriptions and private donations – either financial or in-kind.
