CR Guanacaste Tour suggestions

We are going on our first trip to CR for 7 days in mid July. We have booked a Guanacaste beach hotel for the entire week. We will not have a car. We would like to take some day trips to see some of the country. We do not want to spend hours and hours on a bus. We would like to take a river ride, see wildlife and are interested in the hanging bridges. Can anyone suggest some tours from this area? Do you have suggestions for tour companies or should we just go with whomever they suggest at the hotel? Thanks!
