We are headed to Costa Rica March 12. We are staying at the Westin in Playa Conchal. We are only there for a week, so I would like to get some ideas on what not to miss out on.
We are going with another couple in their early 30's, and all 4 of us are in great physical shape, and love to try new things.
I was thinking we would have to go to Monteverde, and I was thinking a river tour sounded pretty neat. But I really have no idea what should be at the top of my list for things to do
Any input would be great!

Are you staying at the Westin the entire week? I would go to Monteverde if you go there for 2-3 nights but it's not really a day trip, it'd take about 5 hours one way. You may want to look into the Rincon area for day trips, that would be about 2-3 hours one way.
