I am doing a 16 day trip with G adventures in Costa Rica in May 2015. we come to Serapiqui rainforest from Tortoguero . we stay two nights at Sarapiqui. If anybody has done this trip could you kindly let me know what we do the next two days before going to See Arenal area. iam elderly and not a good walker on rough country due to hip/knee problem. I can get in and out of a boat or cart. The tour details do not give enough information. i am traveling by myself. many thanks, Ulinda7 . Australia.

Thanks Volcano girl . The travel company has not informed us of the hotel in Serapiqui. if the rain Forrest walk is difficult in will miss out on the walks and I my need to go to La Fortuna,/Arenal by coach.
How long is this trip during the day. I can meet the group at La Fortuna and continue.
Hope you can give me some information. The G. Adventure agency is not very helpful. Ulinda7. Australia

Generally the terrain there is flat. The paths at la Selva biological station are probably the kindest.

Hi, u - I couldn't find a link to your specific trip, but we stayed at Selva Verde and did several hikes there, as well as at La Selva, the biological station that RAC mentioned. Both areas involves a lot of walking. Both would most likely involve crossing a bridge since they are both located by rivers. La Selva was more flat than Selva Verde. Here are a couple of links that will give you a better idea of what the area is like. I would ask the tour company to provide you with more specific details though; if you're paying for this trip, they should do that for you.
