Corcovado National Park or Tortuguero National Park

Jump to last reply

I am returning to Costa Rica in late July/early Aug. and trying to decide on a 2-3 night stay at the coast. I think I have narrowed it down to Corcovado National Park or Turtuguero National Park but can't decide on which. I have spent a few hours online trying to compare the two but having a difficult time making a decision. Both look like they have a variety of wildlife and nature activities and neither sound like a place for ocean swimming. I am planning on flying (to save time) from San Jose to the coast so getting there would not be a problem. No need for luxury resorts either.

If anyone can tell me some personal opinions of either or both it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Erin A.
