We have only 2-1/2 days in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, in February on the way to our main destination, the purpose of which is to get to Copan. I've read a fair amount and would like to avoid bus travel if possible. Does anyone have suggestions as to good, local tour company(ies) which could coordinate transport, visiting and accommodations?

I just posted a TR on our recent trip which included 4 nights at the Casa de Cafe B & B in Copan. the other place that came highly recommended is the Hacienda San Lucas. It is my impression that most tours from San Pedro Sula to Copan are day tours and would not include all you are looking for. The Hacienda San Lucas does offer a lot of guided activities
If you have a hotel picked in San Pedro Sula the staff there might be able to recommend a shuttle or private driver to Copan. There were very comfortable luxury bus options between Copan and Guatemala City or Antigua but I don't know about transportation from San Pedro Sula
Update. Haven't gone yet (scheduled for February) but decided to rent a car in SAP and stay all three nights in Copan. That gives us two full days in Copan.
