Copa Airlines?

I have never heard of them and now all of a sudden, they are in every search I make...even partnering with United...but the reviews are awful. Anyone ever fly with them? Are they worth the discount they offer?

No worse than any major US airline. We had no problem with our trip to Panama last year, and we're using them for our trip to Costa Rica in 10 days.

The only time we have flown Copa it turned out to be a United code share - actually a United flight in every way except for how much we paid and the airline name and flight # on our boarding passes.

I was quite happy with them and wouldn't mind flying them again.

We had a good experience again with our flights to Costa Rica. If the schedule and the price work, go for it.

We took them business class to Panama City (Panama) a short while ago and were able to tack on a side trip to San Pedro Sula for only about $100. The fare ex MCO was just under a grand IIR. Good, easy flights with decent service. Comparable to a US airline.
